So then what you where an officer. What branch what unit?

theRealDEApr 27, 11:15pm
I was not an officer. Nor do I have a branch or unit to give you. You seem to be having trouble seeing the make up of a fight, or force, as being more than units of foot soldiers perhaps? This would help explain, why you and many in this group may not see what a big deal it is to support the war effort and to not bash the effort and it's leaders during war. It is a big deal. It is crucial. Without the force of a countries will and solidarity behind them, the soldiers fight in vein and without lights. This was my whole point with the WW2 analogy. This point is why I call some in this group traitors and enemies: even if they are Americans and haven't a gun. The force of an army and the success of a fight, is a precipitate of the volition of a people. I fight to support and strengthen my country everyday. I support and passionately fight for the idea behind the fighting. Only owning a pen or a support role yet knowing what the fight is for and being behind it -contributes more to the winning of the war, than a soldier on the ground with a gun that didn't know what the fight was for and/or didn't agree with it. Not that this applies to many or any of our soldiers.

If you believe I can't have this discussion because I was never enlisted in a unit, then you must believe that the enlisted soldier is the only element that contributes to the fighting and winning of a war? And, if you believe this, then, on what xbox 360 game are you basing your concept of war?

No sir I just asked a question as I did serve in the 4th of the 37 Ar First I.D. and in the 702nd msb second I.D. I am only more qualified in my experiance not in my opinion. I support the war effort as long as we are in it to win it but you know as well as I do we are not this is an undeclared war thus it is not legal nor is it constitutional. It is less than popular and it is costing trillions for what? A few of Bushs buddies to get stinking rich?!

theRealDEApr 28, 12:20am
Well, good for your service and I had thought you did serve. I have not been arguing to support my experience, nor credit, nor that I am more tough or brave. I am arguing for what is right. To me, Bush, his buddies, and petty partisan semantical arguments about declaration of war protocol are not the point. They are distractions. For anyone to get distracted by these things is careless and foolish. It underminds the more important issue and weakends us in our fight against those that threaten the well being of the world. By making Bush and his buddies the issue - the problem even, you by default support our enemies and encourage much bigger problems. It's like if you saw a 5 year old stealing a piece of bubble gun out of his mom's purse while right behind them, a man in a mask was about to club an old lady and steal her purse. In this situation, if I saw you going on and on about the 5 year old - or, if I saw you running to the grab the gum out of the child's hand and return it to the mother's purse... I would have to conclude that either a. you didn't see the man with the club, or b. in your assessment, the man with the club was no more a threat than the baby with the bubblegum. .. At this point, I try to point out the man with the club.
If you insist that the baby is the problem, then, it's my judgment against yours. At this point, since you don't seem like a total idiot, I'm going to wonder why you would have more concern about the bubblegum. What can I conclude other than you are either with the man with the club (the enemy), or, hate the child so much that you don't give a fuck about the old lady?/

No again you miss the point what we have done is wrong. The constitution is not a "distraction" it is the rule of law and when our president refuses to follow it he is not a leader worth being followed. All autority is in that document known as the constitution a document you leader has reffered to as a "godamned peice of paper" No lie that is what Bush thinks of the rule of law. Defend that de you little hyperbole made no sense I know you think all "Muzzies" are bad and must be killed you think terrorist are all bad too well remember back in 1775 our founding fathers where terrorists and wanted men. God knows if China came over here and did to us what we did to Iraq I would be planting I.E.D.s on the side of the road to am I a terrorist?

Someone who advocates the sinking of friendly ships i have zero respect for..
someone who advocates nukes in what ever capacity..iether you are ignorant to the long term damage this can do to all life..or you are satans diplomat..i cant even be bothered to read your posts..your brainwashed.

theRealDEApr 29, 7:21am
No, you miss the point entirely. 911 911 911 911 was wrong. And future 911's will be just as wrong. And, your argument is very wrong. The founding fathers were escaping religious persecution and seeking freedom you idiot of history! The terrorists are seeking to IMPOSE their religion thus taking away other religion's freedoms. They are seeking to impost their Koranic law upon everywhere they can. Also, the way that you compare and judge a behavior of today with another groups behavior of centuries ago, is slick but not strong. Look at todays world and reality. Look at facts you do know and not at conspiracy conjecture you haven't a clue about.

and Jossey, you don't have a fucking sliver of a clue what you are even talking about.
Sinking of friendly ships? I was referring to the sinking of old out of commission ships for the engineering purpose of erecting a portable, quick break water. There was nobody on the ships obviously.

Yes I think terrorists are all bad. And you are brain washed big time if you can't see the difference between their methods and motives. They are the ones with hate They hate Jews. They have no respect for human life.

And trevho, speaking of the constitution.. most every god damn democrat in washing should be fucking strung up by now if any were following the constitution. You look to the action without caring about the motives. Bush may not be perfect, but his intentions are good. Meanwhile, the democratic intentions are 100% self serving and anti-patriotic. Every last one of those god damn democrats in Washington should be electrocuted accept for Lieberman.
Every last democrat save Lieberman should face thee death penalty for their unforgivable crimes against their country.

Go to Europe with your beloved Muslims and don't forget to kill your daughters out of pride if they ever wear jeans or forget to put towels on their heads.

theRealDE: If my country runs out of foot soldiers, and has a surplus of middle aged, patriotic, financially contributing, inventing, genius, middle aged, support personnel of my current rank, then I'll assume a unit based roll.

Thank you. Do the world a favour and get yourself shot in Iraq.
